Wall That Ball

Tomorrow’s workout:4 Rounds for Time:
30 Wall Balls
30 Situps
Run 400m

I’m absolutely determined to do this workout with the standard, Rx-ed, 14 lb medicine ball after my epic failure two weeks ago…I Rx-ed 2 of the 3 parts of “Kelly” but used an 8 lb ball and realized one round in I totally could have done better.  What’s worse, the record board for “Kelly” at my gym is completely blank so I could have held a gym record as long as I’d finished.  The shame, the shame…

I’m inching closer to my goal to be completing WODs as RX-ed, though, and that’s what counts.  Yesterday I did my first kipping pullups without a band…all I need to do is nail a good rhythm and I’m solid.

Tonight is a relaxing one.  The Man cooked dinner this time while I caught up on some work for school and around the house:


Rosemary Chicken


4-5 Skin-On Chicken Breasts/Thighs
1 c Cherry Tomatoes
1 c Sliced Mushrooms
1 Onion, Diced
1 c Fresh Green Beans
Rosemary, Sage, Salt, and Pepper to Taste
1 c White Wine
1 c Chicken Broth

Combine all ingredients in a greased pan.  Bake for 1 hour at 450 degrees F.

It was fabulous, as always.  And not just because I didn’t have to cook!
